When are we going to get the next AIS Bulletin????
I've already read and reread and reread BOTH the January and April
issues. When does the next one come? (I am a new member, if I haven't
said that at least 100 times :-)) Also, looking over the archives,
searching for threads on Space Age Irises, I noticed more Anti- SA
senitment that pro-SA. If either Thornbird or Conjuration win, I will
temporarily take myself off the list to avoid the "hate mail" about
Space Age irises.
Although I don't think Thornbird will win (incosistent with its
appendages,) Conjuration DOES have a shot at winning. (I hope!) But
maybe this will be the year that a Siberian (Shaker's Prayer) wins. And
then there's the situation where the hybidizer of two of the "top"(?)
contenders is dead, and do they give awards to the iris or the
hybridizer?
Are these the rantings of an inexperienced irisarian and newbie to the
list?----or do some of you feel the same way?
BTW- I only talk about what I've heard others say... I'm in NO WAY a
fit judge of who will or should win the Dykes Medal.
