Can't help with the absolute identification of the iris just by
description however can help with the flopping question.
Some iris are just genetically predisposed to "flopping"! ...probably
the most famous example being VICTORIA FALLS, which although it produces
lovely show stalks, is aptly named regarding its garden traits. Also,
sometimes very heavy rainfall can knock TB iris down particularly when
they are loaded with bloom.
Most TB aficionados tend to look for irises that are resistant to
"flopping" as an important garden characteristic.
