Re: AIS orders

Well, I can tell you what I (think) is the situation. The new Pub
Director is supposed to be Nancy Pocklington. I hope that the choice is
a good one.

The materials were supposed to be picked up from Jerry Gifford this
week. Part of the problem all along has been that you can't just go into
someones house and get property (even if it is yours) without their
permission.

Regardless of what happened in the past, I agree with Scott that the
Pockingtons deserve a "long" grace period to catch up.

Yes, the AIS has received only a small part of what they usually get
from storefront sales. What happens with stale checks and those
associated problems remains to be seen.

The only way to get the AIS BOD's attention is to write them letters. I
don't know how many of you wrote to the BOD or officers of the AIS, I
can tell you that only one person ever asked for the electronic address
list.

I can also tell you that I received only 3 written responses from those
officers and members of the BOD that I sent letters to, and one of those
said that they had received no other letters of complaint. So not many
people were complaining to the place(s) it would do the most good.

Please don't think I am trying to exonerate the officers or BOD. I think
the blame lies squarely at their feet, but at this point, rehashing the
past nine months is like beating a dead horse. You all know my opinions
from my previous mail.

I think the iris-l is a good forum for bringing attention to problems
(among all the other good things that happen on iris-l), but the only
solution is to write to the places that can do some good.
