My earlier post had a typo. It should have read 'now' out of
business and 'not' out of business. I would say the Bob Brooks who came
to your potluck is the one and only. He still lives in San Marcos, CA but
sold the garden property. My spell checker knows nothing of syntax so it
didn't correct me!!
Bob was at the Michigan convention....the first time I had seen
him in years, and he was great fun to be with....talking over old times.
Also, when I followed up on Dana Brown's post about CA irises that
were forced, baking in the sun. I am talking about CA rhizomes of the
past
and not the present, so please do not associate that statement with
current California stock.
