Walter,
You made me scurry out to the iris field to look at our SONATA IN BLUE.
It does have what I'd call just average purple based foliage, but not
excessive. Of course, on a rhizome trimmed down for shipping, it could
appear to be almost all purple, and some growers do trim their leaves
very short for shipping. But we don't want anyone to get the false
impression that the entire leaf is purple.

Central California Sierra Nevada foothills--Zone 8--some monsoonal
moisture-type clouds drifting up from Arizona today; doubt it'll rain,
that is quite uncommon here this time of year, but it looks nice to see
the clouds.
