Welcome David, I am very curious about how you got started with your
collection. I live out on 10 acres and have
a few irises that were left by the previous owners. If you get a few
spare moments, I would be very interested in how you went about
getting to the point you are currently at. Do you plant in direct
sun? Our acreage is mostly open sun, very very little shade. (I'm
talking 3-4 trees). What would you recommend for a beginner that is
not too easily killed?
Do you plan on getting a home page with pictures? I think everyone on
the iris-l would love to see your place!
Thanks, Teresa

>I currently have 400 varieties of Iris and have been collecting them
for a mere three years. In addition we have 672 varieties of daylilies
too so it is always something going on all summer long. Having a small
5 acre farm there is plenty of room to plant a lot more. We are always
on the lookout for iris and daylilies. This was our first year for us
to add some of the current introductions.
