You are so right about where the package is mailed. Oakland, MS
is a tiny hamlet with a p.o. staffed by three employees. The postmaster
is the typical MS gun-toting, pick-up truck driver, beer-bellied, tobacco
spitting redneck bubba who doesn't know that Priority Mail goes in a
separate bag. He is putting the PMS stuff in the Partial (local
pronunciation) Post bag and it is going nowhere fast. Now, dear readers,
you
can understand about the delayed arrivals on PMS from Oakland, MS. This
afternoon, I plan to mail either in Grenada (Jackson,MS hub) or Batesville
(Memphis hub) and see what happens.

UPS does window service in Batesville from 4 - 6 p.m. only!
