Several years ago I got moldy irises from Schreiners. I have
noticed in the last several years, they send their irises out unbathed
and are loaded with black Oregon dirt. Your orders must have been
packaged with wet or dewy dirt that caused the mold.
Cooley's and Keppel, both near to Schreiners, wash their plants
and there is no mold, or hasn't been for me.
