For those who are new to iris ordering... when you order from an iris seller
(as opposed to Dutch Gardens, Wayside, White Flower Farm, Springhill, etc
(shiver of horror)... the grower shows their appreciation by packing FREE
bonus plants. Sometimes this is done on a formula (Schreiners)... sometimes
as a careful plan (Keppel)... and sometimes as Christmas in July (Aitken,
Sutton).
And ... as is often the case in life... it's the iris that I DIDN'T choose
that seem to bring me the most pleasure!
Kathyguest... who wants to call in sick to her own iris sale so I can roll in
the dirt all day.
