No... they will NOT look exactly like the parent!  Iris seeds are created
when cross-pollination takes place between two irises - so the seed is not a
clone of the iris it comes from, but a stew of elements from both parents.
 Even if an iris is "selfed" - meaning that it is crossed upon itself...
there are many, many genes that may be expressed in the new seed.

The only way to get an exact duplicate of the iris you have is cloning....
which can be accomplished very simplistically by harvesting the new rhizomes
from the mother plant.
