The purple pigment has now completely disappeared from these pods. They are
not drying out yet, but in the absence of any pigment they have acquired a
light brown *suntan*. All of the purple pigment has disappeared from the
stalk and the leaves as well. If you were to inspect TENNESSEE GETLEMAN in
my garden now, you would never suspect it had pbf - a real iris chameleon!
