The information on Ensata Gardens was deligthtful, where are these gardens
located? Summer has finally arrived in central Montana and the rain has
gone elsewhere. The weeds are out of control from all ot the rain we have
had and we are busy weeding and making new raised beds for all the new iris
we have ordered this year. Our iris sale is the first two week-ends of
August at the local Farmers Market. Our club, Big Sky Iris Club has
decided to divide the sale into specific groups of iris and seperate TB,
SDB and Historic Iris. Last years sale we had a demand for Historic Iris.
We also plan to have a sign up for new members at the sale. We were able
to recruit new members last year by doing this and added several motivated
hard workers to our club. It is always interesting to see what the public
interest color is popular at the sale. Several years in a row we could not
supply enough pink iris to the sale, last year the most popular color was
yellow. We always have photos of the iris we are selling and that
