Surprise, knock me over with a feather, My order of Iris: Flower of the
Rainbow arrived today via Priority Mail, a mere four days after ordering it. I
*am* impressed with Barnes and Noble.
I wish I could say that I was impressed by the book, but the truth is that I
got about a 1 nanosecond look at it before it disappeared into Joanne's hands.
(She "needed" me to open the package...)
*My* book,... that *I* ordered, mailed to *me*,... John... Hrummph. Yes I
know I was supposed to be busy doing something else at the time (cooking) so
all I can say at the moment is that it sounds wonderful. I can say that
because of all the "Ohmygosh"s that I kept hearing, and the "You should see
the xxxxxx picture or yyyyy section"s, and the "there's a section on
hybridizing." and, and, and....
You can't imagine how close to death she was.... :>)))
