I use comet or clorox water for the iris rot and cut off as much as the rot
as I can.  I have also dug up the whole iris clump and divided the rot off
of it to save the iris and relocate the iris. Then I saturate the ground
with comet where the iris was growing.  After all the rain we had in June,
things dried up and we do not have the rot here, thank goodness.  Shan &
