I have just been talking to Graeme Grosvenor from Rainbow Ridge Nursery in
Australia regarding the results of 1998 Primo Firenze.
1st...numero uno.... is Graeme Grosvenor with a seedling (Skating Party x
Scandia Delight) The seedling has since been registered as HELEN DAWN to be
released either 2000 or 2001.
2nd...Graeme Grosvenor with another seedling now named SYDNEY to be
released for the Sydney, Australia, 2000 Olympic Games. SYDNEY also won the
best perfumed iris as well. A double whammy!
3rd...Keppell with Starfleet
John Taylor also from Rainbow Ridge has the Grand Champion at a recent
international Louisiana competition with OBVIOUS HEIR a seedling from the
popular DURAL WHITE BUTTERFLY.
Graeme is faxing me a complete list from Primo Firenze but just at the
moment this little Aussie is thrilled to bits with Graeme's success and
couldn't wait a moment longer to tell you all.
