John Montgomery, May I give you a special thank you for sharing your
experiences growing PCN's from seed.
For ALL of you who have requested seed and hopefully many more who will
Please read about John's experiences in his posting on SAT 18 Jul 1998 @
15:38. RE: seed pods PCN's. He says it better than I could.
I have planned to send approximately 25 seed out to each person who
requests seed. All I ask is that you send me a $.32 stamp either before
or after you receive seed.
It looks like I will have enough seed for 70 or 80 packets. So, as the
old saying goes 'speak up or forever hold your peace'.
Since these seed are the result of bee polination there will be a wide
variety of color, form and season of bloom.
For our interested Irisarians who live outside the U.S. please send
amount of postage for a 1 ounce first class letter.
Way back in the 1960's we sent quite a few seed to England which we had
collected in the wild near Cave Junction, Oregon. I am curious if anyone
in England is still growing them??
Would appreciate hearing from our friends over there.
As I am still gathering seed, I will not be sending them out for another
two or three weeks. So let me know who wants some.
Thank you to those who have responded as of now.
Vicki
