Dear Roger,
Make a garden plan. Put all the names of the iris on the plan in the
order they are planted. As you make changes in your plantings, also change
your garden plan.
I use white cardboard, as it holds up well to being taken out to the
garden. I also use metal markers for each iris in the garden.
My dogs tend to remove my markers, as well as the lawn mower. So the plan
is essential to keeping the names straight.
