We have an Iris-talk member too modest to toot her own horn -- the
beautiful Siberian, 'Frosted Cranberry' just won the Morgan-Wood Medal for
Anna Mae Miller.
News of other awards that have been garnered by Iris-Talkers' hybridizing
efforts will have to come from elsewhere -- I have totally exhausted all
possible legitimate reasons to call Melody Wilhoit, AIS Awards Chairman.
After the top award winners are counted, recounted, tallied and rechecked,
Melody notifies the creators of the award winning iris. After notification
has been carried out, the news is fair game for all. When all ballot
results are complete the results are mailed to AIS officers, directors and
any judges who have furnished Melody a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
