Today I got a little bit of a surprize! The other night one of
my cat litter trays split on the underside while I was changing
it. So I replaced it and after cleaning it, I got it ready
today and I used it to put my L.A.Iris 'Godzilla' in it.
The surprize came when I removed one of the Rhz's from the pot
I had it in, and under it was a TERMITE nest!!! I couldn't see
anything on the Iris itself, it had roots and all, and I had
watered this pot everyday. Yet right under the Iris was the
queen and a full batch of countless eggs!
I dumped them all out in an area in the full blazing sun of the
High Desert.
I figure THATs one for the book!
