Re: AWARDS

Hi Everyone!
This is Carolyn Needham, someone who prefers to lurk & learn - popping in for
just a moment. I've been forwarding a few of the iris-talk posts to Jim
Loveland <irisrot@aol.com>, an AIS judge & past president of Greater St. Louis
Iris Society, who used to subscribe to Iris-L but has unsubscribed for the
time being. He asked me to put in his "two cents" re: CONJURATION which I've
posted below.
Also just wanted to mention it's so good to see so many of you here on iris-
talk, and thanks to all who so willingly share their opinions, knowledge *and*
humor.
All the best,
Carolyn Needham

Hi Carolyn,
Post something for me....I have grown Conjuration since 1991 and it has never
needed to be staked. I didnt vote for it but I believe it's worthy of the
award. I disagree with the comment that Victoria Falls has a soul mate..I
visit many gardens each year and have yet to see this iris being staked.
