Well, actually I'm not concerned about winter. I'm concerned about summer!
I'm worried that Cincinnati's hot humid wet rainy summers might be too
much for a 3/4-bred aril to cope with. Furthermore, it was indeed Luella
who sent me the 3/4-bred in question. :)
I went ahead and planted it as I would a regular 1/2-bred or TB. It is in
nearly the highest point in my back yard so that should be helpful for
drainage. It is also in the sunniest patch of my backyard. I figure the
only way to find out if 3/4-breds need special care is to treat them like
the rest, for now. If it dies, then I'll know to try something different
next time.
