Death is the only way for a variety to get out of my garden, unless, of
course it disappears by accident or design (city life being what it is).
And even when they're dead I keep them on my plant list -- you know, in case
they're only mostly dead instead of all dead. Who says that just because
BLACKOUT rotted in '94 that it might not miraculously bloom in '99. Am I
the only one out there that's this crazy? And were those 45,000 *living*
iris.......?
Merrily in DC, where UNFORGETTABLE FIRE stood up for me this year.
