Hello Jan,
I was feeling a bit abnormal until I read your post. The name Lady Friend
really turns me off.
I haven't the slightest reason why. Perhaps if I had had a sister? Any way
the name caused me
not to consider the flower for my garden! I keep looking for a red but to
my knowledge there is not a red iris only reddish browns. Some of those are
lovely.Spartan is a handsome iris.
Perhaps Spartan needs a Lady Friend, for $5.00 or less should I deny him
one? Oh, but he already has Cinnamon Girl! Oh well, time will tell. If I
but it , it will not be for the name, but for the color and freedom of
bloom. Spartan has out performed Cinnamon Girl but like both. Just my
oppinion.
