OT: First anniversary

Hi everyone,
              today is a very special day for me, as not only is it my 22nd
birthday, and the first anniversary of getting internet access, but it also
marks a year to the day since I joined the iris list. 
        In the past year, I have learnt a great deal more about every aspect
of irises and iris-growing than I ever expected to.  When I joined the list,
I had 44 iris varieties, all but two of which were TBs.  Under the influence
of you guys, my addiction has grown to the point where I have 119 TB
varieties, and some each of the types: BB, IB, SDB, PCN, LA, Siberian,
Spuria, Evansia, I. unguicularis, I. pseudacorus Barsfordii, Dutch iris, I.
reticulata and even Dietes (African Iris)!  I've also become somewhat
addicted to hybridizing - I currently have 450 seedlings, with many more
seeds as yet ungerminated.
        However, to me, the value of being a member of this list, and a
regular at the Friday night chats isn't just about the iris knowledge I've
gained, it's also about friends.  I've made a number of good friends on the
list and at the chats, and most special of all, one who has become rather
more than just a good friend.  :)

So I'd just like to say "thanks, everyone" for a great year.
