First off... I use a "double eye" sprinkler that my parents have had forever...
it reaches the far ends of each bed without watering TOO MUCH of the driveway.
I *try* to water for 15 minutes per garden, but sometimes I forget to move the
water, so it's more like 30. I stopped watering regularly after I'd found about
the 5th iris to have a nasty leaf, one that was "rotting" because of trapped
moisture between it and a dead leaf. (No rz rot, thankfully.) Now, however I am
watering those beds again, because I have planted more things. So we'll see how
things turn out.
