Mark,
Siberian SEA SHADOWS is holding up very well in our heat wave.
It receives water when the perennial bed called home receives water.
The SIs I attempted to salvage after neglect last summer are also
holding up, but so far none have died. Two JIs, NARA and GOLD
BOUND look very well indeed - good color, still active growth. They
have been a surprise since I thought they were goners after last
summer. Now if I can just move them beyond the reach of cows
reaching through the fence, maybe I'll see them bloom again someday.

Texas Zone 7 and we have clouds! Unfortunately, the weatherman
says they are going to trap heat and we can expect our temperatures
to go up and 3 or 4 degrees AND increase the humidity. Murphy's Law
has passed and we are into O'Toole's Dictum.
