I was out in the garden weeding this afternoon and found a 34" stalk
in a new seedling that did not bloom this spring. It is perfectly
branched, still too early to tell about bud count, although it looks
like it will have 7. All the rain has made them grow like weeds....
and well the weeds are growing like...... uh.. anyway.
The parentage on this one is: K29-06A: ((F70-I1: Misty Lady sib x
October Splendor sib) x Tomoko) X K50-M29B: (Breakers x Mystery
Blush). There were a couple of very nicely substanced flowers on
stalks that bloomed this spring but only 3 bloomed so not much to
compare them to yet. Can hardly wait to see what it looks like. That
first rebloom seedling of the summer is always a treat!!! and this one
is so early! Will keep you posted.
