OT: RED Iris

forget temporarily the need for a 'truly' red iris.<

Would you settle for a red-on-white "plicata" pattern?  Or a red halo on a
pink self?  In my experiments, I found that the pattern differed with the
cultivar -- but all are very different from "normal" iris color patterns
and certainly eye-catching.
