I TRY to plant within a day or two -- within 2 weeks - or? Irises are
tough, but the sooner they are in the ground, the sooner they will take root
and not be disturbed by freeze-thaw,. If the delay is too long, I'll soak
them in (only the rhizome) for an hour or 2 before planting,. Rosalie
