All,
I bloomed a few of Christy Helsler's JI x SIB hybrids this spring. One of the ones with JI type blooms (JS92 #2) was highlyl branched. It had 5 branches plus the treminal. Each location had two buds. I've posted two photos at: http://molly.hsc.unt.edu/~rbarton/Misc_photos.html. I don't grow many SIBs or JIs but this would seem unusual for either class. Christy says it does not grow like this for her. Comments?
