REB: first rebloom starting

From: Bill Shear <BILLS@hsc.edu>

My morning patrol this AM revealed bloomstalks coming on 'Immortality.'
This will be the earliest rebloom we have ever experienced. When I get
home from work this evening I will check the other rebloomers. Last year,
'Autumn Bugler' was the first to rebloom.

By the way, growth on rebloomers and oncers alike has been very good this
year with just our scattered rains and irrigation from time to time. I
note that most are now getting their "second wind:" that late summer to
early fall growth spurt that tops off rhizome size and shows the next
year's increase. Particularly impressive in growth habit this year are
most of the SDBs and IBs.
