on the subject of slugs.
when we moved here we had slugs about everywhere there was a place they could
hide but at the time we moved we had a pair of ducks and in no time we had
some very fat ducks and no slugs to be found. seem they are a treat to ducks.
of course i know that would not be possible for most of you to have them
in your yard. but we have not had them in 20 years and never find any slugs
even now.
