RE: SPEC: Tigridia pavonia

Don't remember what time of year they bloomed, but I used to have a few
tigridia. Problem is the flowers opened about 10:00 A.M. and were gone
before I got home. Gophers love them, too.

My tigridias are emerging now. Anybody know how long till they bloom?? (I
am growing from bulbs, not seeds, so I'm expecting bloom this season...just
not sure how soon.)

Oh by the way, my Calochortus luteus are setting huge seed pods! They look
like Iris virginica var. shrevei pods (long & skinny.... sorta like a
milkweed).
