CULT: HYB: Enhanced germination

Hello Folks,

In January '97 Sharon McAllister wrote a post on enhanced and
forced germination of seeds (use 'razor' to search the archives if
anyone is interested).

My question is whether I can use this info and apply it to a few
pods from this season now? I know it would require special handling
'til the weather and size of any resulting seedlings coincided for
planting. However, the arilbred pods I managed this year have
yielded a sparse number of seeds, so I wouldn't be dealing with
large numbers. Also, while they appear to have normal seeds,
they have ripened ahead of the TB pods (for which I plan to employ
the natural germination method) and I'm afraid they are going to
be weaker and more difficult to germinate under my normal
method.

TIA
