James, you wrote such an interesting ":article" , really, I urge you to
submit it to the JI REVIEW. Maybe you have, I'm behind on my reading, but
they would love to have it, I'm sure. There are those who write such
interesting email and don't think about that they might be of interest to the
BULLETIN, Rebloomer RECORDER, etc at least submit it to the editor - when
were you in China? I found it a fascinating place - I went the 2nd year it
was open to visitors, with my youngest granddaughter. She was not yet 12 and
very very blond -- and therefore caused quite a sensation when we were among
the picture-taking Japanese, which she sometimes found embarrassing because
