You betch they are:  In the World of Iris, Dr. Smith classifies these as 
repeat bloomers, 1 of 4 classes that make up the rebloom group.  My own, 
Summer Radiance put up 4 new stalks after everything else quit blooming.  In 
fact, it's the only thing currently blooming in the club's display garden in 
Bowling Green.
