Dear Walter: I would call an iris that blooms only in the fall a fall-blooming
iris. I would also like to buy such. But do be certain that others also
find it to be a fall-blooming iris in their gardens. They do act
differently in different gardens. (Mine is one of the hardest, alas). I
have only had one seedling that bloomed only in the fall; it was not good
enough to introduce. Lloyd Zurbrigg in Durham NC, where it is HOT. Best
Wishes!
