Re: REB: spring bloom & hybridizing

I wish I could get as least some spring bloom on my rebloomers.  The
only ones that are spring blooming for me now are LOW HO SILVER ,
CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE , and GOLDEN GALAXY ( less than 20 inches tall )

SPIRIT OF MEMPHIS , IMMORTALITY , GLOWING SERAPHIM , CORN HARVEST,
RADIANT ANGEL AND ISTANBUL all appear to br plenty healthy but refuse so
far to put up stalks.  Then again , if I was an iris I'd be pissed off
too being moved from California to Blainville Quebec Canada.

So much for making planned crosses. :-(

Does anybody know if CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE  is a good parent.  I hoped to
make some crosses for reblooming space age irises and mow have little to
work with.  I'll definately have to freeze the pollen from some of my
SAs in hopes of using it if I get some rebloom.

Hope everybody is getting better weather than we are here in zone 5. 
It's bloody cold and windy around here !!
