RE: iris foliage yellowed and spotted after lots of rain? TB: CULT:

Amy,

Sounds like the start of some leaf spot. Treat with Daconil and it will
knock it right out. We have a little showing up too.

rain? TB: CULT:

We got an inordinate amount of rain over the past week, and one day
the rhizomes, which peek above the soil, were covered 2" in water
that had ponded :-(  I've never seen the water pond like that before;
it was due to already saturated ground and more rain than we usually
get in a month falling in a day.

Now some of the foliage looks rather peaked -- yellowish with small
black spots (not a lot of spotting, as you'd find in roses, but
the occasional spot).

Should I treat this? If so, how? It's fairly hot here so anything
I apply to the foliage could adversely affect it given the
temperatures.
