Re: REB: spring bloom & hybridizing

Chris -- Since my first reply to your message, I see that you are getting a
mixed response as to whether CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE is a pod parent. It may
vary by location. Here's my experience with pods on CE:

Over the past few years I have raised seedlings from CE x LADY FRIEND, CE x
RINGO, CE x 93EE2 (MARGARITA x MAMAUGUIN), CE x 93Y5 (SCHIAPARELLI and
unnamed seedlings), CE x 93L1 (WABASH x seedling), CE x 952Y3 ((CE x
(WABASH x seedling)), and CE x 93RR2 (MARGARITA x MAMAUGUIN). I have been
crossing these seedlings with amoenas and rebloomers. I'm sending by
iris-photos shots of two siblings that have CE as a pod grandparent. The
amoena is a 25" tall border bearded. Its sibling is a 36" TB.
