Diatomaceous Earth (DE) can be obtained at most places
that sell swimming pool supplies as well as some garden centers.

I believe it works by puncturing the slugs' body as they crawl over it.

Much care should be taken when using DE, as inhaling the dust
can have a decidedly negative impact on the health of one's lungs.
