Re:Cult

Hello to All, Golly it's a cold morning today, my gumboots froze as I was milking in the shed, lost all feeling in the toes, not a good feeling.....I'm inside with the heater going flat out, looked out the frosty window to see my iris unguicularis plants are the only fellows bravely facing the elements. Despite being frozen this morning ,they are proudly showing off lovely various shades of blue boooms. Aren't they clever? It's amazing how quickly they come into bloom, as there were no flowers yesterday.I must remember to go out and dust them with lime before the slugs chomp all their tasty flowers up.......or there will be nothing left to cheer me up. You might like a laugh....Went to put on my slippers that were sitting on the back doormat last night and found a tiny little mouse had died in the toe of one slipper.....I shreiked and threw the offending slipper somewhere out into the azalea, lily patch......Now I will have to go and find it and hope that the body has gone.!
.....Cats, bless them , have a funny sense of humour.....One request; Please, what are Space Age Irises? I'm very curious.....Cheers for now, Wendy.....wendon@dcsi.net.au
