Something else to try is to cut the flower sstock off about 6-8" above the
rhizome, leavng whatever leaves are there to continue feeding the rhizonme.
I moved some Canadian Boarder yesterday as they had gotten mixed up with some
Eramosa Miss. A few looked like bloomout but had very small increases on the
rhizome. Certainly leave the plants as often there will be increase later but
it doesn't show itself at this time. A rough guess is that about 75% of those
that seem to have bloomed out will produce increases later. In any case
Carolyn, if all else I will replace Canadian Boarder if you loose it.
