Hello Listers:
I am writing a paper on the history of efforts to collect and hybridize
Louisiana Irises. This will be given in New Zealand, and I want to be sure
to include info on New Zealander Sam Rix--who won the DeBaillion Award back
in 1965 for FRANCES ELIZABETH. I would like to have a brief bio on him,
including an obituary (if he's dead!!). Does anyone know of a slide or
color picture of FRANCES ELIZ.? I have a b/w picture.
Thanks for any help, suggestions, or ideas.
