American Iris

Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me what American Irises are? I looked
it up in my book, but only found *Pacific Coast*. I
sometimes see pictures of them at the Sunday
flowermarket. To me they look like TB. Are they?
Thanks everyone for answering my BIO. I have to do my
mail in the library, where there are only 13 pc´s,
many students and only one hour to use one of the
pc´s. So excuse me if it takes time for me to answer.
Today I will try to find Richard Cayeux on the Web.
