Jan Clark's post about her piano student brought to mind that I have met or
know of several irisarians who are either musicians or music lovers. Of
iris-talk listers, I know that Lloyd Zurbrigg and Perry Dyer are pianists.
How many others on the list are musicians? How many might not consider
themselves musicians, but really love music? I would not be at all surprised
to learn that many, if not most, folks who appreciate the beauty of irises
also appreciate great music (*great* being defined by the ear of the
listener, of course). There are lots of irises with musical names, as noted
in a discussion not long ago. Just curious...
