SPU: Wanted -- Guest plants for 2003 Spuria Convention

The 2003 Spuria mini-convention will be hosted by the Pony Express Iris
Society in St. Joseph, MO (USA).

To meet our goal of displaying over 1,200 rhizomes and 200+ different
Spuria varieties, including named, seedlings, and species in the 8 guest
gardens, we are looking for fellow irisians who grow Spurias who would
be willing to share (contribute) Spuria rhizomes growing in their
gardens.

We have received guest plants from most of the major Spuria hybridizers
in the US and Australia and currently have 800+ rhizomes representing
130 different Spurias, including named, seedlings, and species.

We are looking for all types of Spurias, not necessary the newer ones --
historical and seedlings are welcome. Contributers will be recognized in
the program. You may specify how you would like the increases to be
disposed of after the convention, e.g. donated to the Spuria Society
auction, returned to you, etc.

If you have Spuria/species that you would be interested in contributing
for this event, please send me a private email; do not respond via
iris-talk.
