RE: Grass and weeds?

Sandy
The Sticker is simply called HI-YIELD Spreader Sticker ( about 4 bucks for a
half pint / use 2 teaspoons per gal of water). We get ours from a local
garden shop. It can also be found on the net, just look for garden products,
then HI-YIELD. Many shops sell HI_YIELD so hopefully it won't be too hard to
find. It does take at least three wees to work properly. We do get impatient
sometimes but Dana keeps good records and sets us back on track.
Hope this helps.

You sent to Frank an email about a grass killer used to be called poast. Do
you know were I could purchase it? Also you mentioned a sticker that made
it work really well. Can you tell me its name and were to purchase this
also. Bermuda is a real problem in my iris. Just joined iristalk and was I
glad to read your email to Frank.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

  Frank,
There is a product called HI-Yield Grass Killer ( used to be called POAST)
that can be sprayed direcly over the iris and will kill many types of
grass
like bermuda, hybrid turf grasses, etc.
We have been using it here for a number of years with no success until
this
year when a friend told us to use a 'sticker' ( makes the chemical stick
to
the foliage) and we are having a LOT of success this year.
  Hope this helps :-)

What is the best way to keep grass and weeds out of my iris beds? and
after i have them how do i do away with them? ;-) Thanks
