You all have got me very interested.  Why do you wish you were in zone 7.  Thats were I am.  Can't wait to hear what you have to say.

  Linda, we seem to be simpatico!  I thought I'd do a four-way trial, wintering: a) in the garden, with a loose mulch, b) in the cold frame, c) inside in pots in my 'sun room' and d) planted outside as seeds in fall.  Can anyone think of other options? I'll have enough seeds to go several ways.  Wish I was in zone 7!
