Black Rebloomer

I live near Seneca Lake in New York ( zone 6), and I have good soil 
to work with. I would appreciate suggestions as to the most reliable, 
BLACKEST rebloomer. My favorites are the tall bearded iris. I am a 
novice and can use all the help I can get!!
